It’s not often you can see great comedy and magic in Santa Rosa. But once a year, Ken Garr, proprietor of the Mostly Magic Shop in downtown Santa Rosa, puts on a show that features his friends, colleagues, and students. My family has gone every year for many years, and we’ve always enjoyed it.

This year, my son Gregory Slater will be performing in the show for the first time, with the debut of an ancient oriental trick never before seen in Sonoma County.
The show is April 10, at First United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa. There’s a one-hour matinee show at 3 pm and a full-length evening show at 7:30 pm.
